How to play Ball Sort
- Look over the tubes at the start and find the colour that already has the most balls grouped together — that is your anchor.
- Tap a tube to lift its topmost ball, then tap a second tube to pour that ball across.
- A ball will only move onto an empty tube or onto a ball of the very same colour — that single rule is the heart of the puzzle.
- Keep pouring to gather each colour into its own tube, freeing up space as you go.
- Made a move you regret? Tap undo to step back — you can rewind as far as you need to find a better line.
- Sort every tube so each holds just one colour to solve the layout and unlock the next, slightly harder one.
Controls
On a phone or tablet, tap the tube you want to pour from, then tap the tube you want to pour into — a quick two-tap and the top ball flies across. On a desktop it is the same with a mouse: click the source tube, then click the destination. Tap or click the undo button at any time to take back your last move.
Tips & strategy
- Always keep at least one empty tube free if you can — it is your workspace, and a board with no spare room is how most puzzles get stuck.
- Never split a colour you have just gathered; only pour a ball out of a sorted-looking tube when you are certain it helps free a colour underneath.
- Pour onto matching colours wherever possible rather than dumping into empties — each empty you spend is a move you may badly want back later.
- Plan two or three moves ahead before you touch a tube; the balls trapped at the bottom decide everything, so work out how to reach them first.
- Use undo as a thinking tool, not just a rescue — try a line, see where it dead-ends, rewind, and take the better route now that you have seen ahead.
- When a board looks impossible, look for a colour buried under a single odd ball — moving that one ball often unlocks the whole tube beneath it.
About Ball Sort
Ball Sort is a calm, clever little puzzle about bringing order to a jumble. You start with a handful of tubes, each stacked with brightly coloured balls in a hopeless muddle. Your task is to pour them between tubes until every tube holds balls of a single colour — neat, sorted and satisfying.
There is no timer breathing down your neck and no score to chase. It is just you, the tubes and a small knot to untangle, one careful move at a time. Solve the layout in front of you and a fresh, slightly trickier one slides in to take its place — so the puzzles simply keep on coming.
What makes Ball Sort so quietly addictive is the moment a tangled board suddenly clicks into shape. For a few moves it feels hopeless, every tube blocking the next, and then you spot the one pour that loosens everything — and the rest falls into place like a row of dominoes. That little jolt of "oh, of course" is the whole game, and it never quite gets old.
Because the levels are endless and gently escalate, you can settle in for a long, meditative session or dip in for a single puzzle while the kettle boils. With undo always at hand there is no harsh punishment for a wrong turn, so it rewards curiosity and patience over speed — a thinking person's game you can play at exactly your own pace.

Can I play on my phone?
Absolutely. The game is built for touch, so you simply tap one tube and then another to pour. It works just as smoothly on a phone or tablet as it does on a desktop.

Yes. There is an undo button you can tap at any time to take back your last move, and you can keep rewinding step by step. Use it freely to test a line and back out if it leads nowhere.
How many levels are there?
The puzzles are endless. Every time you sort a layout so each tube holds a single colour, a fresh and slightly trickier one appears — so there is always a new tangle waiting to be solved.
